Our Process

Rug is installed onto a grated surface and thoroughly inspected, then a vibrating device is used to capture all the loose particles. The rug is then vacuumed to ensure all loose dirt is removed.

Rug is then moved to our cleaning platform. Soak with clean water, specified cleaning product is added then rug is cleaned on both sides.

Rug is rinsed with cleaned water then and processed to be installed into our Centrifuge.

Rug is installed in our state-of-the-art centrifuge. This will spin dry your rug until its 95% dry.

Rug is then re-inspected to ensure all stains were removed. If required the rug will be rewashed.

Rugs hung to dry on our drying racks.

Once completely dry, rug is groomed, rolled and is ready for pickup or delivery.

STEP 1

Thoroughly inspect rug to identify any issues and determine method of cleaning.

STEP 2

Placed on commercial area rug vibrator that eliminates any/all soil, sand, dust that is caught in a specialized grate.

STEP 3

Vacuum to ensure no particles remain.

STEP 4

Placed on our washing platform then bathe with specialized cleaning solution. This process can be done multiple times as required to negate all any “special” stains like pet accidents, grease, food, etc.

STEP 5

Once rug is cleaned to our standards, it’s then is rinsed thoroughly with clean water that removes all cleaning solutions.

STEP 6

As much water possible is removed while on the cleaning platform with specialized tools.

STEP 7

Rug is still wet and inserted into a large Centrifuge and spun to 95% dry.

Rug is inspected

STEP 9

Placed on our drying rack to dry 100%

STEP 10

Rug is inspected again and rolled.

Delivered to customer.

Centrifuge

At Area Rug Guys, we have the largest Rug Centrifuge available on the market. We can spin dry area rugs up to 13 feet wide. Freshly washed wet carpets are rolled and placed into the centrifuge. In approximately three minutes our rugs come out 95 percent dry so colors do not mix or bleed. Our unit has a stainless-steel drum carefully designed to resist rust. Area Rug Guys can accommodate rolled rugs with a 19 diameter.
